He might be able to play as a central striker in certain styles, but certainly not under Dyche

A 5ft 5 striker in a Sean Dyche team sounds just the ticket

We play direct and look to win the second ball to set up a counter attack. I don't see Gnonto as suited at all to playing centrally in our system. He'd be a wide player in this team, and probably effective there too, but not a striker for me.

We are Everton, we are destined to repeat mistakes, we will get in players to suit DCL and the not have DCL. Unless we get the PSG lad. Grotto and him would do me for this window provided Braithwaite fulfils his promise. A team with the two Leeds men and a centre forward wouldn’t get relegated. A team with the two Leeds players and a poor centre forward option already did get relegated.

I don’t mind paying £25-30m for Gnonto as long as we get a central striker first and if that leaves £25-30m left over to get Gnonto great.

I don't really follow Leeds much but I know they played an attacking brand of football, isn't it concerning that he only scored 2 in that system last season or am I missing something?

Pure mind games this transfer now. I'm happy Everton to play the waiting game as long as it doesn't affect our CF search. We aren't desperate a wide man right now so can wait it out.

I think we all know where this is going….we’ll drag this in and then make s couple of deadline day loan/transfer in a position we don’t need. Just a sham and it hasn’t changed because they kept soft sh1te in charge of the negotiations.
