Imagine having a player of the quality of Zaha on the bench rotating/ replacing James / Richy during a game.

The sort of strength in depth that we need to win stuff/compete for top 4.

Yes, because trading in scoring for Palace most weeks to come and sit on our bench is the career move he probably dreamt of as a child.

The ridiculous thing aba so many people still ‘imagining’ we are signing Zaha even tho there is none and has never been any link whatsoever, is that when Monday comes and go’s and we haven’t signed him, some of these people are going to pretend to be disappointed or let down. Let me spell it out ‘WERE NOT GETTING ZAHA’ get over it ffs!

Let me get this straight. You're imagining that people will fume about a transfer they are imaging... and you're fuming about it? Lovely stuff.

We'll almost certainly not get him and no interest has been reported from anywhere reliable, unless you count king of the weasals @Moomin... but come on mate, let us have our dreams.

just read Hodgsons comments. He says they want to keep him and they don't welcome late bids. They don't say they won't accept a bid however and it he didn't say Zaha wants to stay now, just that he's been told late bids are welcome and may not be considered.

Not this again... He isn't coming and I can't see him ever leaving Palace. He will almost be 29 by next summer and I can't say teams paying £40/ £50 million for a player of his age. IMO Palace were unfair on the player not letting him go last summer, but good on them for sticking to their guns on the value of the player. Guess we will never know how good he could have been

The last 2 windows Zaha has handed in transfer requests so it'll be interesting and entertaining to see if it happens again.

His value to Palace far exceeds what others are willing to pay.
