Thing is we all know it is true but i understand why Sky had to deny the story at the end of the show. There was all that stuff with Vellios when Moyes was still manager here. I do remember her knocking about in various bars and clubs back in the day, she had a bit of a reputation tbf was even some talk of involvement with a big time drug dealer at one point.

I just don’t think they have any intention of selling him unless their price is met.
And no one is willing to pay such an exorbitant figure.
They are strengthening and have started well perhaps they hope that they can persuade Zaha that it’s worth applying himself to their cause this season.
Next season the price they can ask and the amount other clubs are willing to pay will intersect and he may be able to leave .
But he’s highly unlikely to leave this season.

They rejected it because he was still vital to them, now they are actually looking towards alternatives. Palace are NOT going to get £50m+ for Zaha no matter what they think. No team is paying that money for a player of that age whose record (on paper) is not actually that impressive.

Palace won’t get what they want because he’s not in demand as much as they think. Reckon they will get around 30-35m tops. Each passing transfer window his value is dropping.
