I do not want to see Rooney play for Everton ever again. Not even in a charity game. I don't want him interviewed in the programme or the club mag, or on Everton TV. I don't want anyone making out he's some sort of great Evertonian still holding a candle for the club.

True, but in all fairness, Tim Howard has scored as many as Kone for us and he isn't even our best goalie. I was there.
I'd accept him back only if he was still good enough, and he made all the right comments upon returning.
I just can't see it.

I'd also love it though if I walked into my local boozer and that bird who plays Margaery from Game Of Thrones was in there completely nude serving free pints. It will never come to pass.

No room for sentiment or bitterness in the transfer market. If at any point he becomes available to us, he should be viewed the same as any other targets. i.e Can he do a job and do we think it's a good deal. His/our past shouldn't even be a consideration.

When you put it like that, then I see where you're coming from, no player is bigger than Everton, which is why I have no problem with Lukaku going in the summer if he wants to.
I'm just being a silly arse, I'd like to think Rooney would like to come back, the only kicker is the wages.

The way Lukaku has conducted himself this season he is 10x worse than Rooney, his new agent is one of the biggest kunts in the game, nailed on he moves this summer, Mark my words, the only reason he won't move is if they won't meet our fee we are asking for, but make no mistake about it, Lukaku wants off.

You can't please everybody. The only thing that matters is what the gaffer wants to do. Roberto wouldn't buy Rooney because he's a past blue, no more than he'd buy Anichebe.

I think the way football is going he won't come to us when his Man Utd career ends at 32, he will go to the MLS or UAE, they will offer him far more money and a longer contract
