THIS is the capacity in which I would like to see Rooney return. Billionaire owner. And I suspect there's a decent chance of it happening too.

After the huge fee we paid for him, I'd like to think he had more about him than to feck off after one poor season, he should be staying here 2 or 3 years and giving a bit back before thinking about a move.

Well in his eyes hes been here 2 seasons and we still havent won a pot or got CL.

Probably not. Would I like him back here in the next few years? Yup. His desire to work hard and ability in the final third would be an asset to us. Very versatile too. However I don't think he'll want to leave United till he breaks Charlton's goal record, and he has 30 goals left to reach the magic 200 number. Wages would be another issue.
