This is the perfect decision by Premier league. The league cannot afford another lockdown, with all the fixture list pile-up, with the added economic constraint on all the smaller clubs, it's just asking for trouble, especially with an illness that has a survival rate of 99% and has little to zero impact on professional footballers. If there are any COVID outbreaks on teams, it'd be sensible to cancel that individual game only and still allow the league to happen.
