Appreciate he’s probably under performing with this group of players (despite getting to the final (I think Spain will win comfortably) but I don’t get this view of him being bad at his job. He’s qualified for every tournament (not all previous managers can say that) and has achieved a World Cup QF & SF and 2 x Euro Finals…..that’s better than any other English manager. His record is decent in major tournaments without winning one.
He's had a great group of players and extremely fortunate draws. And the football has generally been dire. Would you want him managing Everton? I would take Dyche every day of the week.

Regardless of what you feel re England, I thought this was still brilliant from The Killers last night. They should make Mr Brightside our national anthem.

I fully get none English people not wanting England to do well. And I fully get English people not being particularly arsed about the national team too. I started off mildly interested in the euros but was switched off the England team after the 3 group matches and haven't watched or even followed any of our games in the knockout stage. But I don't understand English people actually willing the England team to lose, and it isn't a small minority either. I guarantee every single other nation across the world will think we're completely nuts.

Don’t mind the England manager and team, it’s the Reform voting bellends that make up the support that turn me off them. Can’t stand flagshaggers.

No I wouldn’t want him managing Everton as I would want to see what he does in club football first. I think he failed to Middlesbrough, I also agree that we have under performed in this tournament despite getting to the final (which he has been to two of now which no Everton manager has achieved sine HK). You said he was poor at his job and in all fairness I was stating his record which was a defence to your position.

Thank you for your forthright feedback pal. I’d be interested of any response to this from posters on here.

Just for context you can also see Basques cheering on Spain’s opponents and the same with Napoli fans wanting Italy to lose so it’s not unique behaviour in that respect.

I think any scousers partaking in this behaviour don’t identify themselves as English, but I welcome additional feedback.

The only thing anyone should ever care about is hoping our players come back from any International match not Injured. Supporting England or any International team is like supporting an opposition team for me. I will watch them if its the only match on at any given time. It's Everton and Everton only for me.

I see you ignored two thirds of my post and highlighted the bit that may be a bit controversial. Ever considered a career in journalism?. Pal.

Just neutral, I didn't cheer at the last min goal yesterday just said 'goooaaall' in a neutral fashion

I have just been watching them at home tho, guess you'd get more into it at a pub but I also think watching English in a normal pub is terrible
