I really am now of the opinion that the Echo literally no F all mate.

I'm pretty sure that Moshiri has cut most of the ties with them - they had no idea on the RM sacking (though @The Esk was pretty certain on it from March onwards), and no idea of Koeman's appointment until after the fact.

Is that not slightly too defensive? Akin to how Martinez played Barry and McCarthy fulfilling similar roles?

While I think Besic could be more offensive if given the right mentorship (he's certainly good enough on the ball), I don't think he's there yet.

If Carvalho does in fact join us, then I think we need someone slightly more creative, flamboyant and forward thinking in the middle of the park.

You can have two defensive mind midfielder but having both Coleman and Baines overlapping for more forward thinking. 59 goals is actually good if you ask me. There is something wrong with your defense. Conceded 55 goals has cost you losing 3 points in games. William can be that guy who can protect your back four to improve your defense.
