Hurry back Capt Jags. Your handsome presence will be missed for a wee while,,, but your leadership and experience with success is vital to our team. You are a winner and we want to see you hold aloft another trophy.

Jagielka shouldn’t have given the ref the chance to give him a red. All he had to do was control a ball.... not that hard! For me i think its a red just because he’s last man aswel.
.

I'm 50/50 on it, I certainly don't think it was a red for excessive force but he was the last man and I could agree with the red for that as he did go through the man even if he touched the ball.

Fuming regardless. Everton should be winning. We put ourselves in front twice and unfortunately I think that might be the story of the season.

Credit Everton for playing over half the game with 10men,you would think wolves battered us,some of the things i have read or hear so far lol

A slight touch, yes...... Regardless, studs up, into the lower shin area. Also if contact hadn't of been made, the Wolves player is likely through on goal one-on-one with Pickford.

I know, blue-tinted glasses and all that, but if I was a neutral watching that, I'd say its a red.
But he got sent of for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. Jags win the ball and it changed direction away from their player. The foul occurred after the ball had been won, so he can't be denying a goalscoring opportunity as their player no longer has the ball.

I think it was a red and Jag should have don't much better not to allow that situation to happen. That was the big disappointment today as I'd have loved us to put these in there place and I think we would have done with 11 men.

In some ways the sending off may be a positive. It's possible that even with 11 men we would have conceded possession late in the game and given up a winning position, then it would be seen as a disappointing performance, this way it's a brilliant backs to the wall display which sets us up for the season ahead.
Odd point of view.
