I’ll take the point considering the awful decision. The game has gone mad and you can’t tackle at all anymore.

Really positive performance overall. We played good football at times even with 10 men, and defended quite well with the high line.

Pickford was great once again, I can’t see how he can be blamed for that freekick.

Coleman and Baines were both brilliant. I was expecting Digne to walk into the side but it doesn’t look like it’ll be that easy for him.

Keane and Jags are truly not good enough and I’m delighted we’ve replaced them. Keane has an okay game but then forgets the basics - there’s no way that Jiminez should be getting to that ball. Jags was unlucky to be sent off but he simply can’t play good football. The touch leading up to the red was exactly why he needed to be dropped.

Gueye and Schneiderlin had good games.

Gylfi didn’t get a chance but hadn’t done much before getting subbed. I’m not sure he’ll keep his place when Bernard is match fit.

Walcott was good both going forward and defensively, he’s a solid player and was a great signing for £20m.

Tosun caused some problems but maybe should’ve done better with his chance.

Holgate played well after coming on, he should be getting plenty of game time this season.

Now for the main man, Richarlison. What a player he is. He was everywhere.

He’s lightening quick, strong and that second was a top drawer goal. He could end up scoring 20 if he plays like that most weeks. Hopefully he’s not injured, I imagine he was tired more than anything. Not arsed about the fee, he seems to be worth every penny.

I haven’t seen an Everton side fight that much for a long while. At times it felt like we had the extra man.

So far so good. Nice one Marco.
