On reflection, fair enough. Let's not take anything away from the free kick though. Pickford may of made it harder for himself, but there was only ever so much he could do regardless, right?

Oh absolutely mate, fine free kick.
Had he stood still he would have given himself a great opportunity to save it.
It's a learning curve for him, we have to all remember that.

I was shocked how good we were defensively. We generally played as a unit.
The back 4 got very narrow when defending but we had good width when we attached. A lot of responsibility on the wide forwards who both put a shift in.

Midfield engineroom, while lacking some finnese at least seemed to give a toss.

Much to be pleased with.

I'm not sure we're wolves are going to finish they didn't look like a team who going challenge the top end of the table.
We should have won and I'm confident we can do them at goodison

Tosun was a major disappointment though. We needed both Richarlison and Tosun to be on top form to make the game plan a punishing one for Wolves.

Meh I gave this game up a week ago, knew we wouldnt be able to make many changes from last season with how late we did our business, its nobodies fault, the market was tough. So to play how we did and only lose cos the Ref was an utter moron makes me very happy.

Silva has a week now to bed in the new players and im expecting us to blow Saints away next week, total, total football.
