Yesterday apparently, a number of personal and intimate photos of some of the England women’s squad were leaked onto the internet.

While such leaks are wrong at any time, this certainly can’t be helping their preparation for the final and is another example of prejudice.

I was explaining this to family the other week. It's very difficult over here TV rights etc etc which effectively have created the modern football we watch week in week out.

The standard has improved massively and a big contributing factor was probably the US national team who set the bar.

I posted earlier in this thread that it's not a sexiest thing for me personally, I go for atmosphere friends and comrades. Could I get that same rush from women's football currently? The answer is no.

As for the comments around they shouldn't play football well that's just being a twunt. For the record us londeners don't think like that.

The media are all for it.
The dreaded mail did a leader the day after the semi. They had pics of the back heel scorer in bikini and others in party dresses.
in my view sexualising the players.

But it's OK male footballers dressed up going out on the town and on the beach in their trunks??, are they sexualising them?
 

Wierd seeing this big spectacle for the women. Best thing I could say is that if you just turned over you would think it was the mens FA cup final or something - fantastic.
 

Cant say im a big fan of all these pre match performances at big finals - too American for me. Just play the bloody game
