I've enjoyed what I've watched of this tournament more than any of the men's ive watched over the last 20 or so years. They, the players, just seem so much more 'normal' and not a washed and sanitised product.
Just my 20p worth.

It's not hard really. If it was the men playing, would people be bringing up the success at an UEFA U-19 Championships and comparing it? Not a chance.

It's nothing to do with the skill level. In terms of hierarchy, this competition is seen as more significant than the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

This win is as much for the likes of Fara Williams and Alex Scott as it is the actual team. Without those women and what they did for their game they wouldn't be at this level tonight.
