Political leanings aside the collective glee at Rapinoe missing the penalty is really quite weird.

The irony is that if Sophia Smith, who had a genuinely terrible game, had just put her penalty on target, then Rapinoe wouldn't have even taken one.

I’m a bit surprised Chloe’s was faster than Daly’s as she absolutely hammered hers in too. Both classic Shearer style penalties.

I agree but doesn’t matter. You can’t just assume she doesn’t get there or the keeper doesn’t bobble it or something. Just made no sense to overturn it.
