Majority of match going England fans are pretty good imo, the England fans membership is very stringent tbf and most of tickets were sold to members. Not many, if any, have travelled without tkts.

Dave, if you were that famous you'd have drop kicked yourself on to poor street before you had time to spend your earnings. Who knows how many times he's been heckled, or even worse, and not done anything. If your temperament on here was anything to go by you'd have Bruce Lee'd up about half of the UK if you were in his shoes...calm down, faux princess. ?

Nah, I'm Irish but my son, born in Ireland, is half-German. If he was good enough to play international football - and good enough to interest the German federation - then he'd have a decision to make. Let's be realistic. It would be an easy one. He'd choose Germany. It would be Jamal Musiala all over again. Ambitious young players will choose the country higher in the pecking order. As soon as Grealish and Rice felt they had a sniff of England, it was game over. O'Neill knew that.

I hold no grudges against those lads. They took a gamble but it was a rational choice once they backed themselves. And they made it count. Those players had misgivings about committing to us: locking them into that would have been unethical and, I believe, self-defeating.

We can console ourselves on Saturday as our kith and kin, Declan, Jack, and the two Harrys earn Engerlund a semi-final berth. And if they lose, we can hail them as purely English.

But they are purely English anyway, they were born and raised in England.

Bit of an odd one I agree, I don't know about the issue with Holland but if White is like most people from Brighton then I can see him struggling to mix with some of the others. Folk from Brighton tend to be fairly cultured and I could see him not wanting to be 'one of the lads' sort of thing.

Cameroon beat Algeria in a World Cup playoff with a 124th minute goal. Algeria claim the ref was dodgy and have accused Cameroon of cheating. According to Eto'o, this guy was following him and going on about it calling him a cheat. Not exactly much of an excuse but that's the story

But the serious answer is that it relates to Cameroon beating Algeria in a World Cup Qualifier. Algeria weren't happy with the referees performance and I think it's still a big bugbear.

I guess Eto'o's status as one of the biggest players in the country's history means he's a bit of a focal point for the Algerian fans - and maybe just snapped?
