For anything major to happen to Eto'o? Probably. As I said, "like it or not".
If people didn't harass celebs like they do, maybe it'd be different and they could be held accountable like everyone else but they're not treated like everyone else by the general public, are they? Celebrity brings out the crazies; I'm sure if Lennon was still alive he might agree.
If you expect me to believe he kicked that guy for no reason, you're gonna' have a hard time with it.

I think that's a very English perspective. It's certainly shaping up to be a brilliant tournament for England. Whether you'll think it brilliant even after an English defeat would determine how objective your viewpoint is.
From my perspective, it's been enjoyable, but the standard has been poor - and we haven't actually had an all-time classic match yet, even if today's games were dramatic.

I would tend to agree that it's the sort of World Cup where we should finish the quarterfinals, then send them all home as unworthy of lifting the Jules Rimet Trophy unless there's some fantastic footy tomorrow.
A lot of sports would be improved by adding an aesthetic component to whether or not you're allowed to claim/contest the title.
No confirmation I can yet see so hopefully just an internet rumor

Very sad. He was the guy for USMNT coverage during the Bradley years, because he had an 'in'. Didn't realize that was because he covered the team for the school paper when Bradley was the coach at Princeton and he was an undergraduate.
