World Cup 2022

That’s just the ‘stadium’ kit, the match shirt is an eye watering £115

Btw I really like the away one, very retro but I’m gonna wait to get either a cheap knock off or wait for it to drop to a more sensible price

I just miss the originality, you know?

The last home kit was a tip to a previous case, the same with this kit. That’s just England, every side seems to be going through a “retro” phase, just would like something “outlandish”.

The £115 for a “stadium” shirt is a joke, and they wonder why people go down fake shirt routes.

I'm starting to think there's a bit of an anti-Qatar campaign on the media now.

How can you boycott a country over fears of safety that is known for having one of the lowest crime rates in the world?

They really should've gone with the Antarctic bid, I'm lead to believe there is very little crime there, well - penguin rolling aside.

Here we go the world Cup 2022.

Having assessed the squads it seems Brazil are rightfully the favourites. They simply have the best players. In fact generally after Brazil it's hard to make a case for another team based on quality. France, England, Germany, Spain and Argentina are all decent squads but they don't have the same kind of strength in every position that Brazil do.

And this is not even a great Brazil team in terms of comparing with Brazil teams of the past. In fact it looks like one or the weakest world cups I've seen for some time in terms of the overall quality of all the top nations.

Those other 5 mentioned you kind of know what you will get and none of them really look good enough to say with confidence that they will win it.

It could be that there is an upset, in that a more unfancied team could go all the way. Someone of the likes of Portugal could have a say with some world class players in their ranks such as Cancelo, Dias, Bernardo silva and a few potential world class players coming through the likes of Leao.

Uruguay also have a good mix of players and can field a lineup of players who all play regularly for top European teams. They could with a bit of luck go far.

Netherlands don't seem to really be quite there for me, I feel their attacking players are too much of the inconsistent type so it would be hard to feel they will have enough.

The likes of Croatia, Switzerland, Denmark, Wales and Poland all seem to have their better players coming to the end of their careers so it's hard to see them doing too well.

Senegal are the best of the African Qualifiers and again could surprise a few but it's highly unlikely they will have enough to go beyond the quarters or the semis at a stretch.

My guess would be

Brazil to win the tournament with Portugal having an outside chance of winning. Uruguay to have a good tournament too potentially reaching the semi final stage. Fitness or key players for these teams is vital for this to happen however.
