That’s why I chose Muscat. So cheap, for accommodation compared to Qatar.

Flights to Doha are £100 return on matchdays.

Ale no cheaper @ £12 a pint, £9 happy hour. But readily available, in loads of places.

Not having the Mrs with me means a round is London money.

View from my room, I’ll be in there in the morning ! Nothing like that in the desert camps.
