This is it. There is progress but its not at the rate a lot of folk want to see. Still many twists and turns to come this season but overall we are still very much a work in progress. A lot has been done in terms of overhauling the squad, but there remains a lot left to do.

That’s exactly what I expect this season and next, It’s going to take some time to see full results of Brands work, think it’s a reason why we will take both cups seriously because realistically best we can hope for is a Europa league spot in the league, so we may as well have a go in the cups

People keep mentioning Pochetino, I'm not convinced by poch, Spurs lost a lot of games last year and it wasn't really picked up on because they didn't really draw, win or lose were spurs main results. To lose the amount of games they did but finish 3rd is quite remarkable really and probably wouldn't happen normally.

I would like us to start showing some sort of form fromlast season and I think we'll have a good year.

There's nothing wrong with being worried about us pal, all it does is show you care.
I think we're slowly heading in the right direction, but, even though we won today, I still have some concerns about us.

Up front I loved us today, midfield was just right but defence a little shaky.

It’s nice that we have an international break on a win.

I still stick with my WORRIED topic because I love Everton but know that we cannot go to Bournemouth thinking we will win such as at least seven teams above us do when we should.

But will just enjoy the moment.

I do thoroughly enjoy the long sirens prior to Z Cars, probably due to sky not being ready but helped with the electric start and anticipation post kick off.

Just imagine a cold winters-night, Bramley-Moore Moore Dock in the new USM Stadium, the teams are in the huge entrance and the lights go down, silence, then the air raid warning, lights light up the sky not with Batman but the Everton badge bouncing off the clouds, it’s cold it’s autumn/winter, the sirens are blasting and then Z Cars and we are l d out to a huge roar......

But I love this club and just want the best.......

Wish today was Friday as I have not had a good weekend for a while.

Always. It's just part the make up of my character. And Everton don't usually help, but they did at the weekend so all good here, if not a little peeved that if we had got an early goal or two against Villa we could have been joint second in the league.
