What about Watford, who have played Brighton, us and West Ham, two of which at home, and have collected 0 points from them? Are they essentially down in your strange head?
Football doesn't work the way you think it does. Last season we beat 3 of the top 6 at home. We also took 1 point off Newcastle over 2 games.

I think the poster means if everton followed his example and played all our games on a playstation then we would be in the top 6
Last season our easier to win games at home were against United Chelsea and ArsenalI don't think anyone is catastrophising and saying it's either a crisis or that we're going down, are they?
I think it's a concern though. A worry. We were poor for large parts last night against a League One side and as @GrandOldTeam said, we were only 10 minutes away from pens.
We've not particularly impressed in any game this season and against Villa we were dire. Of course, we're very capable of turning that form around and going on a run (hopefully starting against Wolves).
We've got to be picking up points in the early part of the season in these easier-to-win games as we approach Christmas as we've got a hell of a fixture list going into December.
Wolves are our main rivals for that 7th spot so it's the biggest game of the season so far, we really need to step it up.
Wolves finished 9 points off the top six and took 16 points off the top six.
Everton finished 12 points off the top six and took 12 points off the top six.
"Just as far behind the top six as we were...."
Every goal that was ever scored or will be scored was/will be preventableBoth of the goals they scored were preventable, they weren't out of nothing. At least they weren't any more than Digne's or Sigs penalty was.
They fully deserved to be level going into the last 10 minutes of the game.
You could say though things, but certainly if a team is doing those things that USUALLY translate to results over time, the results will eventually come. A 38 match sample might not always perfectly reflect from a points perspective the more micro level results on the field - there's lots of fortune and luck involved, hell just look at our last two seasons, but my guess is that Watford will be fine if they keep playing the way they are.Agree with your point but there are 2 ways to look at it.
You could say playing well in 3 games and losing all 3 of them is not a good sign.
Same way teams are praised for winning when they don't play well. You could say if you dont play well youre lucky to win but its a quality to be able to win when not on top form
Steve is Wonder, Usain Bolt, Joey Essex.Who would you have picked instead of Schneiderlin to play last night.
I am no fan of his but what are the options
The trouble with a roller coaster is that it always finishes were you started off.Being an evertonian is the best rollercoaster in the world. Wouldn’t change it for the world. How can you be worried after years of disappointment. It’s all natural now.
Davies is another of those players who in the minds of some fans gets incrementally better the longer he sit on the benchSteve is Wonder, Usain Bolt, Joey Essex.
It doesn’t matter who plays as long as it’s not him but would of given Tom Davies a go.
But then I spent so many nights just thinking how you did me wrongAt first I was afraid, I was petrified...
It's amazing people apply the logic of 'two freak goals' to Lincoln but DON'T apply it in reverse to Digne's and Sig's penalty.
'Comfortable' but with 10 minutes to go was heading to penalties against a side that was playing in League Two 4 months ago.
Might want to save it for a loss.So far in the league we have played three won one, drawn one lost one - All should have been victories with the players we have and money spent, could have lost them all.
Carabao Cup struggled to win against a first division club.
Look lethargic, off the pace and quite frankly clueless at times.
Silva still insisting on playing Schneiderlin who constantly makes defensive errors, fails to tackle, gives free kicks away and insists on playing forty yard balls to heavily marked players or passes back.
In essence I believe we have a decent squad with the potential for a good cup run and or relative league success, I just think the man at the helm does not know who his best squad is and where to play them.
Wolves (supposedly one of our main rivals for that coveted 7th spot) on Sunday and really not relishing that one.
Am I worried?
Damn right I am....................
