Worst Beer/Lager Ever

Budweiser or Carling, for me. I'm sure there are worse tasting beers, but I'm offended at how popular both are, despite each tasting like cold, carbonated versions of Bear Grylls's finest.

Both are absolutely tasteless. Budweiser will at least get you drunk eventually. Carling just makes you need to piss.

Any amateur home brewed quadruple or stout... I don't care if you can distinguish ''notes of burnt coffee'', it's just nasty... I'm sorry

There are some real bad IPA's floating around too.

I don't drink anymore but Carling Fosters and Budweiser must be the worst I've had.
BTW, some great AF beers out there now.

Yeah, they have up their game loads recently but I'm still yet to find one that I've enjoyed after a few sips

Yeah there can be a bit of an aftertaste in some but found Guiness, Brew dogs nanny state and Adnams Ghost ship to be my current favourites.
Oh, Doom bar is not too bad either.

Adnams do one called Sole Star that's pretty good, 0.5% abv. Was better when it was 2.7% abv, mind.

Haven't tried the AF Ghost Ship, but I quite like the original brew.

There are some real bad IPA's floating around too.

I’m not sure how many good ones there are to be honest. If I wanted a harsh, bitter-tasting alcoholic drink, I’d rather get a shot of cheap whiskey so it’s over faster.

And Chang properly chilled is tolerable. Like a 5/10.

Hofmeister............ Follow the Bear. To SHAT yerself in the woods.

The revived Hofmeister is surprisingly decent, worlds away from the piss-weak, taste-free '80s stuff of memory. Proper Helles-style German beer @ 5% abv, like you'd get at Oktoberfest. Award-winning and all sorts.

I panicked the other day when I read that there was a beer supply problem leading up to Christmas, but I relaxed when it turned out to be Carlton stuff. I don't drink it so it's not a problem but I remember when it was the only beer you could get in Melbourne and we thought it was the best beer in the world.
Worst beer I remember was a Youngs pint in England a long time ago. I'm a serious beer drinker and that the only time I left one on
the bar. Could've been a bad batch, to be fair.
My fave at the mo is James Squires Hop Thief.

Youngs No3 was ok on cask
