Worst Beer/Lager Ever

Just remembered another.

It has something artificial in it to make it 'thick'. It's so hard to describe but I'll try - it's like drinking vaguely beer tasting melted marshmallow.

Just saw Skol mentioned in the Everton forum, and Chang mentioned the other day, and wondered what the GOT consensus is on the worst ale out there? Or even a discontinued one.

Carling, Chang, Skol and a homebrand Aldi one from uni I can't remember the name of for me are the worst, but I honestly think Chang at Goodison was the worst of the lot.

It's Carling ....but Chang is / was seriously bad.

There's a way of bolloxing up real ale so you get a banana taste - usually homebrewers but tasted that a few times from commercial brews - undrinkable.

Teetotal nowadays and some of the AF stuff is unbelievably low quality. Very hard to get right.

Harp was pretty grim, along with Kestrel !!

In a state of some desperation after a party many years ago, I reconstituted a pot noodle with a can of Kestrel Super Strength. Didn’t taste great but was an outstanding hangover cure.

Personally I find Peroni and Moretti absolutely foul. Both of them have a distinctly unpleasant chewy quality.
