Everyone seems to support Wolves around there though ?

It's complex with the teams in the West Mids as you have 5 teams in a 15 mile radius so you get a cross section of fans from the area supporting a team not where they live, think more Villa fans live in the Black Country and Solihull than actually live in Brum

It's a million miles away, but not part of the City. It's the nearest big team. Bit like how parts of North Wales is an Everton zone. And no one in Cannock, Cheslyn Haye or even Rugeley would thank you for saying they are in Wolverhampton. Because they're scruffs.

Any disagreement (not just football) used to end like so (or a variation of):

"Shut up ya dingle".

"Yam the Dingle, Birdhead"

"Yowm more Dingle than me, Doghead".

Stoke is technically nowhere other than in Lord of the Rings. It makes Scampia in Gomorrah look like Calderstones. Horrible wicked place full of gammon types and the kind of monsters you used to see in your dreams. Rumour has it that dogging originated from there as did mint sauce and anthrax. They use sheds and lecky meters as currency. Good place to get you car fixed.
