Ahaha, I flirted with atheism when I was younger and I think a lot have a bit of a unhealthy obsession with religion tbh. Obviously there is a collectively, lot of negative things, and a lot. But if it helps individuals that may need it, why should I tell them they're wrong

The thing about most atheists from what I've observed (including myself) is that proselytising is not even on their radar. Militant atheism is a very small sect, if sect it be.

Well, you don't have to be a full blown atheist out of the gate.

You can start off being agnostic, that is: 'I can't be sure just yet if there is or isn't a god'.

Or if atheism isn't enough for you, you can go beyond it and be a nihilist! That is: I don't believe in f' all!

intellectually nihilism makes much more sense, but by and large people tend to reject nihilism on ethical grounds which tends to bring up the religion question again, so... that Everton, eh?

I've not read Nietzsche and and not near as smart as a lot of people, but I know Everton make me stop caring often enough that I my outlook turns largely agnostic if not entirely nihilistic
