Was it Karl Marx, a very long time ago, who said - "religion is the opium of the masses"No. All religion should be banned. It's brain washing garbage for the weak of mind.. (apologies if that offends anyone)

The thing about most atheists from what I've observed (including myself) is that proselytising is not even on their radar. Militant atheism is a very small sect, if sect it be.Ahaha, I flirted with atheism when I was younger and I think a lot have a bit of a unhealthy obsession with religion tbh. Obviously there is a collectively, lot of negative things, and a lot. But if it helps individuals that may need it, why should I tell them they're wrong
Well, you don't have to be a full blown atheist out of the gate. The thing about most atheists from what I've observed (including myself) is that proselytising is not even on their radar. Militant atheism is a very small sect, if sect it be.
Well, you don't have to be a full blown atheist out of the gate.
You can start off being agnostic, that is: 'I can't be sure just yet if there is or isn't a god'.
Or if atheism isn't enough for you, you can go beyond it and be a nihilist! That is: I don't believe in f' all!
That is true... ESPECIALLY if you're an Everton supporter!intellectually nihilism makes much more sense, but by and large people tend to reject nihilism on ethical grounds which tends to bring up the religion question again, so... that Everton, eh?
That is true... ESPECIALLY if you're an Everton supporter!
Nietzsche said something like there is no structure or order in the world... Which at times basically sums up Everton!
Wise words Karl mate. Was it Karl Marx, a very long time ago, who said - "religion is the opium of the masses"
