Would you pay £24m for Lukaku?

What is the maximum you'd pay for Rom?

Was lost again today. Drifted out wide loads. Scored though I think that's what's important isn't it?

Thought he was good, personally. Especially second half once he got his goal. Still not the finished article by a long way yet though as you could also see today.

The service he gets is atrocious. Barkley being back was telling, and he got his goal from it. Why is he having to drift out wide to get involved so much?

I say it again for the umpteenth time: Naismith and Lukaku cant play in the same team.

They just did. Naismith wasn't the problem. Not having Barkley and Lukaku being injured was.

@davek - Naismith was outstanding today. Lukaku & Naismith can play in the same side. Romelu needs service i do agree, but again his first touch let him down and was bullied off the ball more than once too.

Yes i totally agree. Service is always to his chest, he is best running on the ball in the area and the box! his goal today was outstanding.

Yeah, they just did - and neither looked convincing.

Something has to give.

When Mirallas is back that has to spell Martinez taking the decision to go with what he had last season. Our pace of attack is lethal with Mirallas-Barkley-Lukaku.

...you having a laugh mate?

Moving about a lot and giving free kicks away is not that impressive to me like.

I think its you that needs to laugh more.

Naismith ran non-stop for 90 minutes and played some of the most intelligent balls into Lukaku, Lukaku cant trap a bag of cement at the moment, its not Naismiths fault.

There is a reason he plays Dave.

Naismith was arguably our best player. He was instrumental in stopping them get into anything resembling a rhythm. He also joined in well with the attacking play.

He ran about. Yeah, I'll give you that.

Bryan, he did **** all. He chased back a couple of times and retrieved the ball. I'm not saying he was hopeless, btw.

My point is concerning getting the best out of our £28M striker. Naismith crowds the lad out, no question in my mind.

They didn't get into a rhythm because they were hopeless. Full stop. Benteke was rushed back and they were lost without Delph.

Lukaku did what strikers are supposed to do and score when the chance arises :-) His 21 and still learning! Our midfielders are'nt giving him as many chances as last year at moment but his making movements and trying to get his free spaces to get ball passed into!
Ok his first touch isn't as good as it could be and apparently his an injured toe or something too?

People feel its easier to slate him as his not Everton academy lad and cost money! If Osman fell on his ass, its Lukaku's fault :-)
