Would you pay £24m for Lukaku?

What is the maximum you'd pay for Rom?

Lukaku did what strikers are supposed to do and score when the chance arises :) His 21 and still learning! Our midfielders are'nt giving him as many chances as last year at moment but his making movements and trying to get his free spaces to get ball passed into!
Ok his first touch isn't as good as it could be and apparently his an injured toe or something too?

People feel its easier to slate him as his not Everton academy lad and cost money! If Osman fell on his ass, its Lukaku's fault :)

He's doing hardly any of this

...and too much of this

Irrelevant, what matters is if the run opens up a passing lane...he can easily bully off a lateral run and turn them.
Yes, that's all part of being a striker. My point is the proportion of that type of workload - which has him going into channels - with passes where has to do less spade work getting into the box. It's arse about tit as far as I'm concerned...and has been for weeks.

Barkley being back will change his fortunes for the better, but my point about Naismith still stands. These two take up the same space and it cant work, and will retard Lukaku's return to form. He is our priority goals-wise. Yes, Naismith has scored four, but Lukaku has banged them in for two seasons and can do this job consistently....which is why we paid £28M for him.

We're too flat in the final 3rd for my liking...it's my biggest gripe, for as much griping as I do anyhow. Today we actually didn't fall in to that trap too much. It may have been a tactic with Ross being out, since we don't really have a ball carrier blessed with pace other than him but I don't like it, regardless. Need another specialist in that dpt.

I'm talking centrally, BTW...someone will no doubt say Mirallas.
