Would you pay £24m for Lukaku?

What is the maximum you'd pay for Rom?
We buy them we'll have to buy so meo ne el se in 2- 3 years for similar price, Lukaku we can keep for 10 years or sell for triple what we pay.
Or we wait around and lukaku bins us off for Chelsea or another CL club leaving us with Kone up top as the others are in RS, Arsenal, Spurs etc. Shirts. Let's be honest if talks were going good he wouldn't have changed his bio it says alot to me

If there's anything in this changing of his twitter profile Martinez will have already been informed about the decision, it's not the way you'd let a former manager and trusted coach know that you'll be staying put. One of many things Lukaku has that most 21 years old footballers don't is professionalism, he'd have let Martinez know his decision before this if it's absolute.

Haha, doubt it.
Let's get over-analytical on this...

Changing it to Chelsea means one of two things... either he's staying at Chelsea, and has changed this to reflect that - or he's leaving and this is a temporary change until then.

I honestly can't see him staying at Chelsea, so it must be the latter.

So why would he do it at all? He's made it deliberately less clear that he wants to come, that means one of two things... either he doesn't want to (or can't) come to us - or he's strengthening his bargaining position with Everton by seeming less keen.

The truth is somewhere in there... there's still a fool's hope!

So what ... we always have know he was/is a Chelsea player. I will be surprised if he still is one come 31st August TBH

Takes but a few seconds to alter your profile in cyberspace

Lukaku thought he'll have CL clubs queuing up for him and it hasn't happened, eto and ba gone and torres is gash, I wouldn't be surprised if Rom stays there tbh. But regardless he didn't need to change his profile pic had either him or everton were confident of a deal in the pipeline as what would be the point? At best it means we have another few weeks of negotiations to do which is leaving it too late in the day to sort our main striker issue out either put the money up and give Lukaku a week max to decide or look elsewhere

He doesn't get on with Jose does he?

Isn't that why he's not keen to keep him, either wanting to sell or loan out?
