The twitter thing doesn't mean much. Technically as of right now he is a Chelsea player as his loan contract with Everton has expired. He's not doing anything out of the ordinary to say.....anything. As of this moment in time he is contracted to Chelsea. Don't read too much into that.
 

I also think with bony you would get someone who keeps his head down and works hard, lukaku on the other hand I could imagine talking up his chances of a move to a CL club every month similar to felliani with his agent, be arsed with that we need a unified team not someone who thinks he's bigger than the club
 
So a Chelsea player updated his out-of-date profile to show ... he plays for Chelsea, causing internet meltdown.

May I suggest trying some chamomile tea?

With Ba's agent coming out saying he had agreed terms with us that could only mean one of 2 things:

A. Lukaku has told he doesn't want to join

B. Martinez hasn't the money to bring in all the targets he wants so is looking at a striker in the £8-10 mil range rather than the 20 mil range, which would rule both lukaku and bony out
 
I'd be amazed if Lukaku was a Chelsea play come September. Not surprised they're selling Ba as he was available in January before he had to cover for injuries, but I think Chelsea will look to buy in a striker and move Lukaku on myself.

If Lukaku really decides to stay at Chelsea then he's clueless.

Yep, this ^

He's got 2 years left on his contract, so if he's to stay there they'd need to tie him down to a new deal.

I can't see either party being overly keen on that prospect tbh.

So for me, he moves this window. Ba moving to Turkey alters nothing imo.

Or C. We've sounded out other potential targets should either plan A,B or C fall through for whatever reason.

Clubs will be talking to all kinds of players that they don't eventually sign, just so they can have alternative options if their main targets don't come to fruition. Nothing unusual in us enquiring if Ba would be available, willing and affordable for a transfer if other things don't happen with other targets.

C. Ba was told he was going to be a backup option at Everton and decided he would play more as Beskitas.

OR
D. Ba's agent was talking guff

Just a couple things that could also be the case.
