Yes but you've got it the wrong way round, 25% (1/4) means there's a higher implied chance he joins us than 40% (2/5).

You can't really parse betting odds as a probability that an event is going happen, it's not exactly a credit default swap.

1/4 means 80% chance. You win 25p for your quid.
1/4 is if it happens 5 times you expect a result 4 times.
 

so i guess the lot of us are going to be sat in front of our laptops or constantly checking on our phones for the moment we get confirmation lukaku is an everton player lol
