Would you prefer England to win the World Cup or Everton to win the Premiership?

Mate it's a daft question really...


I love England an want them to win always.

But i'd rather Everton win a throw-in than England win the WC.

Everton is my life mate......
 
I find it impossible to comprehend how any supporter could put country before club. Generally, for club supporters these tournaments are stress-free filler between seasons, when the football that matters is played. That's why the pubs will be full of "fans" who won't have watched much football since England's last tournament failure.
 
England without a shadow of a doubt.

Have seen Everton lift the league twice, in what was a proper league and not this Sky induced pantomime.

But then I am English, and those who were born in England but hate England because Thatcher apparently screwed over their town need to get a grip. Just saying like.

How many England games you been to this year?
 
Well it's always been both for me. I support Everton through and through and probably would rather they won the league than england win the WC. But i do love the nerves and atmosphere that comes with a world cup, it's kind of unique.

Well it's how I feel. I'm not from Liverpool, I'm not scouse. I'm English who happens to support Everton. Everton make me cry more often than not.

I suppose the real question is, who is likely to win what first. Can't see Everton ever winning the Premier league, yet England have got a very good chance.

No, I am English you weapon. I don't go and buy an UK Olympics top but I still want them to do well.

Maggie did nothing to me. My childhood was great.

I used to love England, then they gave that clown McClaren the job and paid Sven a fortune or vice versa.

Then dont even get me started on immigration, so quite frankly, England can do one. I love my country, but it doesnt love me, im white working class. Im a nothing citizen. Maybe if I was black and gay things might be different.

Everton fans are no saints mate. But for me I couldn't give a monkeys about the fans. There not the only people away from their home acting like animals in the name of the nation.
