Whatever is more likely to alter the course of the club. Without an alteration relegation is a certainty at some point in the coming years anyway.

They won't admit it but it will do the fans an actual service if we go down. It will hurt, but start of next season we start again in a league where we can not only win more than 6 games in a season but win the title. For too long the only happiness has come from retaining our PL status but at the same time bemoaning not having trophies etc.

Think of all those families are going to live in a happier environment next year.

Of course if we start bombing in that league all bets are off but if we do we deserve to be liquidised to put us out of our misery.

There is as much chance of us winning the PL this year as the championship next year

I.e. Zero

We will be lucky to come midtable next year if we go down

You couldn’t count winning the championship as a trophy mate surely ,

As in the title, would you prefer us to get relegated or stay up. Some pros and cons below for both

Relegation
Pros
- Gives time and opportunity to rebuild the team without the pressure of the prem
- Best stadium in Championship

Cons
- will likely lose our best assets

Stay up
Pros
- Keep Premier League status, making it more likely to attract bigger players
- More revenue from staying in the prem

Cons
- will likely struggle again next season unless serious changes are made
- bad for my (and possibly your) health

More than likely we will need a relegation for the club to actually make the changes they need to make
If you knew that relegation meant everyone gone and a fresh start then that might be the best long term result. I fear relegation with many of the same idiots trying to fix it and staying down a long time.
