so many players are signed on there stats some work some dont and there not basic, most players signed from abroad are based on there performances?stats etc some work and some dont, some players have a great 4 months sign for someone and then flop. look at that kezman bloke chelsea signed years ago had amazing goalscoring stats better than van nistleroys but he flopped, he was signed on his goals in holland and it flopped. stats are all over football now its all we see possesion pass completion goals scored shots on target etc etc etc and you think its only a very basic part of football
 
we can go on and on we will just have to agree to disagree, we can judge welbeck after 20+ games in the prem for arsenal to see if hes a good fit for them the same as we will judge lukaku .
 
I said before he signed for arsenal that he would be a great player for us to sign. Lukaku has the edge in terms of finishing but welbeck offers much more in all round play.

I can see welbeck becoming more accomplished in front of goal and forming a great partnership with sturridge for England. He just needed more time in a central role. He will get that now.
 

He has had one good game. Like Lukaku he is a confidence player. We shall see.

I would say that if Lukaku had had Sanchez's service he would score just as much.
 
Galatasary was a dumpster fire today. I can't really see him doing well here, or at Arsenal in the long run. Granted he's OK, just not someone who want to splurge large transfer fees and salary on.
 
Anyone could score goals in the arsenal team!! (Apart from bendtner of course)

Not saying that as a dig at Welbeck, I think he's good but arsenal create bucket loads for strikers.
