Would you welcome Rooney back to Goodison?

So if you would have Rooney back, does that mean you'd have Barmby back to?

On the other hand Cal, you say you'd never have him back......

But you'd have Fernandes back with open arms. He's just as bad!! both [Poor language removed] on the club. The way you feel about Rooney an Barmby. I feel the same for that shithouse Fernendes!

Even thou, i hate Barmby more than any other footballer ever!

Cuunt!!

Difference between Rooney and Fernandes is that Rooney was one of us, an Evertonian. Remember: "once a blue, always a blue?" Fernandes was just another footballer.

TBH, at the time when Rooney moved on I didn't blame him. But his attitude was dreadful and he deserves all this flak just for that.

But I'd probably have Rooney back, if he apologised or something.

He's still a great talent.

The final decision go's down to the player!! no doubts. If he wanted to stay, he would have.

THIS IS SO SIMPLE..

Barmby........cunnt.
Rooney.........cunnt
Speed.............cunnt
FERNANDES..........CUNNT!!

rooney back at everton ? i would imagine it would be like taking back a partner who cheated on you with some bloke you really hate at your work..........you wouldnt want her back , but boy , she was a damn good shag ! (y)

no way jose , rooney is a skanky ho , damaged goods and probably has the clap now.

what would he have gained from this? bad shout, anyone with an ounce of common sense would leae Everton for Man Utd, regardless of whether you support them or not? When stubbs was at celtic, if he had offers from Everton and Man Utd, would you begrudge him snubbing us? I know i wouldnt.

We obvioulsy just look at this differently. I would have liked some loyalty but it cant be expected of in the modern game. The fact is he could have been our Giggs or Gerrard, building the team around him for years, but he ended up jumping at the first oppurtunity.

But its Rooney, he is a simple minded animal and will probably never feel regret, whereas most of us would

Tb you can make as mays excuses up as you want.

3rd party.
Not enough money.
the club.
Moyes.
etc,etc,etc.

It all boils down to the same thing......

CUNNT!!!

An it is that simple!!

It's not as simple as that though is it?

I could break it down to you but there'd be no point. Your hate for him is getting the better of you again despite the fact that your not looking at the bigger picture.

The problem is Liverpool and Man utd are on a different level to Everton, Gerrard and Giggs came into successful clubs and they progressed in decent teams.

Rooney came into quite an average team and we where struggling. He was also playing in a bad enviroment, the team and manager obviously wheren't right at the time. I think we all know that. It was quite well known that Moyes had lost the respect of quite of few Everton players, Rooney icluded.

I think he left far too late in the summer, he didn't give us a chance to get anyone in to replace him. I excected him to leave though, I just wished it would have been earlier in the summer.

Why would he feel regret? £100,000+ grand a week, Champions League winners medal, 3 (I think) Premier League title medals, and constant [Poor language removed] from our fans. What there to regret?

He's gone. We moved on. To be honest I'd feel more bitter and regretful if he wasnt a little [Poor language removed], if he was respectful to club because the "what could've been" would've hung over far worst than it is now. He was a talented youth player we got rid off like many others and made a [Poor language removed] load of money from him. Not arsed in the slightest that he went or if he came back.

If I played for liverpool or united i'd stay there too! if I didn't play for them (or chelsea or arsenal) and I was good enough for regular football, I'd jump ship straight away, you want to be the best in your field, you want to win trophies, it is clear he has made the right decision and (without tryin to sound like a kopite) many blues are just bitter about this situation.

You've just completley lost it here mate. Theres absolutely no way you can compare the Fernandes saga to any of those 3, especially Barmby.

To be honest, I also don't see the slightest resemblence between the Rooney/Barmby scenario and the Fernandes one. Think I reserve my judgement over what happeneed with Gary Speed though. there are to many stories about this one, so I don't want to compare him to either Rooney or Barmby.
