Would actually rather we kept him than loaned out.

High wages and knocking on 30 after a bad injury. He is currently 5th / 6th choice winger.

He was a poor signing as most on here called at the time. Not Bolasies fault, but he is deemed surplus to requirement.

Hopefully he goes there and earns a permanent move or catches the eye of another team. At least he will be getting games which he needs.

We are getting shut of, yet another, player who offers a zero-sum to our team.

It is a great day.
We are but we should atleast be getting some for of currency, nobody wants to see him back here next year.

I’d get him gone now for 8m

Bolaise is costing us 9m a season, so forget his transfer fee, that moneys gone.

If you factor in his wages and his transfer fee over his 5 year contract he costs us 9m a season.

So if we can get Boro to give us like a 2m loan fee and pay some of his wages, we can get some money back, from an accounting POV its a good deal, if Rico gets injured, from a footballing POV its BAD, very, very BAD.

He offered more to Everton than Danny Ings did to Liverpool.

Southampton would have loaned him if given the chance, Liverpool told them no, he stays unless they pay £20m.

We need to get better at shifting players - loaning them out isn't enough. Mirallas, Williams and now Bolasie. All 3 would have been prime panic buys to teams struggling in January.

Middlesbrough won't sign him permanently - as we saw with Besic.

He is also 5 or so years younger and not on 100k a week.

Thought Ings was a loan myself.

That would be bad but only very, very bad if bolasie was coming in to replace him
