Think your getting mixed up with Freeman Hardy and Willis.Didnt they once play a midfield of Emerson Lake and Palmer?
tbf, there's quite a few 'ballers I see on a PL weekend who lend me similar belief...Bolasie has been the source of inspiration for me, seeing him keeps me motivating saying "if he could play for Everton with that lack of balance and ball control, you could do anything as well".
TBF some of the players Liverpool are trying to offload are better quality than some of the crap we have. We saw first hand how decent Ings can be on Saturday. Benteke and Sakho are both quality too (or at least capable of quality if they can be arsed). The money they got for Ibes, (an England U21 at the time) is no different to where we are with Lookman.RS don’t want Ings and is injured prone but get £20m.

Could we ever be sane again?
Oh I agree mate. I was talking more about the fact that most if the deals are being done on loans rather than sale. It's what I expected. It`s working out much much better than I could ever have imagined in my wildest dreams.
Speaking of Boro, I read an article wherein Pulis was praising their CB Aden Flint. It got me thinking: wouldn't it be great to see a team with that Brazilian bloke who plays for Man U, City's John Stones and Boro's highly praised CB in it. Imagine a passing move between the three of them: the commentary would go "Fred...Flint...Stones..."
Markovic is up their with Klassen and bolasie for bad buys. Sadly that was under the previous regime. Klopp has barely made a bad signing karius apart (and thank goodness he did) since he’s been there. United have a number of players who they have paid big money for and dont even make the bench. Hopefully under Brands our mistakes of the past won’t be repeated.TBF some of the players Liverpool are trying to offload are better quality than some of the crap we have. But for all their successes they've had loads more they can't offload and have loaned year after year. Some of them they paid a few shillings or too. Names like Origi, Borini, Aspas,Balotelli, Markovic.
Cherry pick the good deals if you want, but they've had their own nightmares over the years too.
The difference we have this year though, as I said earlier, is we have about 15+ we're trying to offload at the same time and everybody knows it. It's a thankless task for Marcel.
Not sure but we used to have Lennon and McCarthy in midfield.Didnt they once play a midfield of Emerson Lake and Palmer?
Today is a good day
Back in the early 80s in NZ, late on a Sunday night, was a slot 'The Sunday Horrors': played a lot of Hammer House stuff etc...great fun. Me and Dad (RIP) used to have such a laugh watching some of them. Apposite of your caveman reference, here is the trailer to probably our biggest laugh:Ideal at Boro with Pulis and his caveman tactics...
So, outs : Rooney, Williams, Mirallas, Klaassen, Funes Mori,Vlasic, Cuco, Bolasie, Besic...would that be about 25 mio a year off the wage bill?
