Yannick Bolasie

Quick, exciting, fabulous ball skills.
Inconsistent, poor decision making, poor finishing
There will be days when you think he is the most exciting player you've ever seen and days when you want to throttle him. Sometimes this will be the same day.
Koeman's challenge is to make him more consistent...and he might. We don't have the managerial or coaching set up that you do and Ithink he will benefit from it. I like him and I hope he does well.

He will certainly add entertainment value.
I doubt we would be attempting to sign him if Walsh and Koeman did not feel he could meet the requirements of the set up we want. Perhaps by adding a couple of extra wingers we can then cover for when either of Deulofeu or Mirallas are having off days.

For those saying "It's alright cos it ain't our dough" the way I see it's like this:

When you buy bang average, you get bang average.

When you buy bang average at exorbitant (Not the euphemistic 'going rate' at all) rates - regardless of whose money it is - and you're still getting bang average, those paying realise they're getting their fingers burnt, and are then less willing to buy genuine quality as a result.

Then you have to factor in that bang average will be getting paid as much - or even more than - our established (better) players. And they'll want parity or more when they see what bang average gets, or they're off.

So, if we have an average season (7th or below, out the cups before the semis) this season, don't complain.
When we can't attract the top players because of it, or because they and their clubs decide their 'going rate' seeing as what bang average brings and earns, don't complain.
When our own established players want out, don't complain.
When the ST prices go up, and they still pay well over the odds, don't complain.
When your sky subscription goes up, to pay bang average's wages & agent fees, don't complain.

We've allowed palace to dry-bum us, and some have got their arse cheeks well spread, begging for another shafting.

I bet most on here have never seen him play just like to moan about any old [Poor language removed].

I get all that, but what are your thoughts on Bolasie?

To be fair season tickets go up regardless, Sky goes up all the time regardless and our own established players already want out or want increases and have done for years anyway.

Your acting like its only just going to begin happening.

Thats fair enough.

And if players like Bolasie and everybody else you dont agree with take us to top 4 or win a trophy, can you promise not to cheer?

You're complaining that us buying 'bang average' players will result in us finishing 7th or below, not being able to attract top players and only being able to then buy average players?

You are aware of where we finished last season aren't you?

I just struggle to understand how people watch him in person and view those videos of him and see anything other than a one trick pony who utilizes nothing but his speed. His touch is abysmal, he can't finish, he doesn't link up. He literally just takes off and tries to run past a defender. We are talking money in Mata Isco range and we are going to spend it on Bolasie.
Sounds like Sterling and he went for £50m. The world's gone mad

Oh I quite like him :coffee:

So - just whose money is paying for it then? That's the point.

Thats fair enough.

You'll wake up skinny before we finish top for or win a trophy because of Bolasie. :bye:
