Williams is a no nonsense defender with experience, Gueye is a terrior with great interception stats and passes forward often, Bolasie is fast and perfect for counters. Koeman has seen the softness in Everton and is trying to remedy it with maybe not his first choices but if they don't want to come to us what can we do? In the friendly against United Koeman complained about sloppiness in passing making us lose possession and nullifying our threat. He is toughening up the team and adding pace. All bought from English clubs hence the hefty prices but proven in the PL. He is slowly but surely adding grit with experience which can only be beneficial to us. Remember we are not on the so tight budget anymore so no need to fret too much about the cost. Let Koeman do his stuff then see how it goes before prejudgement and guessing.
Talking sense will get you nowhere

Be interesting what the assist stats are

10 for Anichebe
13 for Bolasie

If I readjust to leave out the DR Congo games (so English football only)

28 goals and assists for Vic versus 22 for Bolasie. Bolasie with over 1000 extra minutes played too.

It's the price I'm trying to get over, but frankly it would be nice to have someone that can create something when we need it other than deulofeu. Coupled with superior players I'm hopeful that it will be a net positive (on the pitch).

Just been on their forum to see his thread and see what they think of him, second comment I read.

"It's probably dawned on him that we've signed a winger in Townsend who's better than he is. I think his stock is much lower at the moment and hes showing a lack of fitness and also a bit of a lack of interest too which was evident in the 2nd half of last season. At 27 hes not going to improve and might be time to cash in but i doubt we'll get more than 15m"

Im done

Look at Del's stats last season - worse than Bolasie's. 33 apps, 4 goals compared to 31 apps and 6 goals. Bolasie has much less assists but that could well be down to playing in a Palace team lacking in a decent striker and goals overall. I think he'll do well for us.

If you look at his 4 seasons since being with Palace, he had scored the same amount of goals as Victor - not bad for a winger

There more to stats you know.

It's not all about stats and goals, he is good at construction attacker, he will help other creative players find space.
