I know, with inflation and TV money it's not that much, but in relation to the fact we're only going to have a net spend of around £15m probably, that's a lot. Put it this way, Williams is likely to have a big impact, and we hope, will contribute to a few clean sheets, and I would say, save us around 10 - 20 goals with tackles, blocks etc (I know that's a dodgy stat, but you know what I mean) - is Bolasie going to give us 10 assists, 10 goals? win us 3 - 4 matches? That's what I would call £20million worth£25m today isn't even close to the £28m we spent on Rom. Rom would have been £40+ in this market.
"Bolasie holds an active interest in grime music. In 2014 he clashed with fellow professional footballer Bradley Wright-Phillips for the long running grime DVD series Lord of the Mics.[67][68]"
It was very weird. He said there was no agreement for Bolasie to leave but the way he was speaking he sounded resigned to losing him, especially suggesting that he needs to find a replacement.
But he went on to say
""Yannick is contracted here. He's a great player and a great person, I love him. We'll treat him with the utmost respect in any situation."
If, as has been widely reported, Crystal Palace have accepted a bid from Everton for Bolasie, it isn't really treating with the utmost respect by by not letting him travel up north after accepting a bid. Treating him with respect would be allowing him to travel up north to complete the move, like Swansea did with Williams, rather than making stay in London and train with the team.
I can see this deal falling threw,if there is some kind of deal in place ie agreed fee why haven't we insisted he doesn't play Saturday in case of injury, palace fans will have a love in with him at selhurst Saturday and persuade him to stay !!

Despite what I just said, appears he may well play Saturday.
So unless there's major developments I think this will definitely drag on until next week.
BTW, if he does play Saturday, people need to keep their heads from falling off. Stones played for us on Saturday in a relatively meaningless game and two days later he'd signed for City.
Swerve and go after Ghezzal!!! There is still time!
