I respect his record as a player and what he did at Southampton on a smallish budget. But here he's done nothing yet.

But as our new manager deserves a go, they were basically your words...

Calling the guy a fat headed dutch whatever is hardly appropriate.

I think the complete opposite on reflecting about it mate, Bolaise is a player who fits a very specific role in a team as such not a panic buy at all, but a player who Koeman has wanted for a whilst and suits the style of his play.

Plus mate, you don't suddenly panic buy with 19 days left honestly - Niasse was a panic buy 100%, this lad is a planned purchase by koeman/Walsh to suit the system they want
I'd rather he went back to Southampton for Long, tbh.

Those stats dont lie mate. He cant finish and he cant create.

To me he's just going to be one of the most expensive out balls in history.

Our strengths under Martinez were to counter with the ball at our feet not to belt it downfield. It was controlled attacking play and we were one of the best teams in the PL at it. THAT was our strength and that's what should be preserved. Fix the defence and leave the rest intact.

Dave by the last few months we had absolutely no stregths last season anymore, Komean isn't coming into a team 'almost' there left to him in a good state by the ex manager, he's come into a car wreck of a squad with appaling fitness levels due to Martinez.

He wants to go out and bring in players who facilitate that recovery and rbing a lot to us then let him and be thankful they aren't Niasse

Da-vek is going to tear you a new one here mate. Legend has it he was banned for being a one man wrecking machine against the clique.
Davek ain't going to tear me an anything this is bloody forum mate, which I don't spend my life on and consider to be laughter compared to the world I work in. It's all banter.

And when teams sit back?

Longs goalscoring arte is always something brough tup againstb thpose that don't want him mate - so a bit amsuign you quote Bolasies arte as a negative but want Long - when in reality what both bring is not really shown in pure 'stats' etc

For a winger i'm sure the quality of striker/attacking mids you ghave massively influence your key passes, chances created and assists stats mate, Bolasie has been playing with utter dog turd at Palace in thos positions, throw Deulofeu into that team he doesn't score anythign and doesn't create much either

Mate, we were playing some great footy and well placed in the league until the autumn of last season. It isn't ancient history this: those players were getting plaudits for their attacking play - play which was producing loads of goals. Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

The fact that they fell apart under their own torpor and poor player/manager relations is neither here nor there. Koeman needed to come in here and recognise that. We dont need root and branch surgery, we need that defence sorting out.
