If you were asked last year would you have said he is better than Deulofeu or Mirallas? I don't think I would have. I'm still adjusting to the concept that 28 million was fair market value and not an outstanding rip off. I hope the lad proves it was a bargain.

Common consensus from usually reliable sources is £23m rising to £25m
Most of what I saw is reporting £25m(Sky, BBC, Telegraph) as the base price rising up with add ons, not seen £23m. At the end of the day though I'm still having trouble accepting it as market value and I don't think he is any better than either Mirallas or Deulofeu though I hope he proves me wrong.

I think it's more about having wingers to burn if ones having an off day/tiring
Plus he has pace and power which, with respect, none of our wingers have in comparison to him.
Havent seen a single reliable source claim its anything less than 25m rising to 30m.

Pretty sure McNulty and / or Joyce report at the time it was £23mil Goat. If I'm wrong fair enough. We definitely haven't paid £28mil up front though.
while I agree he's overpriced mate, he offers something a lot different to what we had before and let's face it, had Rom and Barks had their shooting boots on, would have had 2 assists on his debut!

Which I'm sound with. I don't think he is a bad player just not better than what we had which is what I would hope for given the 25 million we spent on him. I know the prices have changed but it still feels like we overspent there.
