Didn't think he played no better or worse than most yesterday. He was effective in that when he gets the ball he drives forward and creates space quickly for others, and beats the man more often than I expected. He also keeps the opposition full back and winger ten yards deeper to try and deal with him. Also thought he used the ball pretty efficiently, unless I was watching a different game.

That bit where he puts their spunk headed bell on his arse was ace.

Another thing mate, he's enjoyable to watch and gets people "out there seats" and that's nice to have back again.

Can probably add why did Enrique not give him any real chance at Barca compared to some other 'less talented' young lads - especially given the way the Barca fans love him.

Doesn't help the fact he has the worst fitness for a professional footy player i have ever seen either though, seriously don't understand how a lad in his condition/at his age can't last a half without looking goosed...

Fingers crossed though as all the talent in the world
Niasse played about 3 minutes in 3 months because of fitness issues.

I like him. Gets crosses in, helps out in defence, relieves pressure, scares opposition players that they back and back off not wanting to be beaten by pace. He is a winger so he will be in and out of games. He was huffing and puffing yesterday but that will apply to lots of players this early in the season with each at different levels of fitness. Koemans game needs 100% fitness and I believe we have yet to get that level with Lukaku, Barkley, Mirallas, Bolasie and even Gueye. It will be there soon.

We need to get over the £25m thing. It's not his fault and it's not the yardstick to measure him against.

A better one is "is he better than what we have in that position" and it's a yes for me. So until someone better comes in or someone younger than him in the squad develops to better than him then he's doing well if he holds his position in the first team.
