Quite like the guy, was gutted when Bardsley (?) KO'D him on the break

Pacey, unpredictable and as I said previously if our other attackers could finish, would probably have racked up a few assists already

Yes, I forgot about that.

Two gilt edged chances squandered after some excellent work from Bo.

consistently inconsistent is probably what he will be mate. but last week would have piped a fair few down who say he can't assist.

what we need from him on days like today where it isn't happening for him is grafting away, holding shape, helping out and following instructions

Nearly scored a belter, a couple of decent crosses that nobody got to. Got us up the other end with his dribbling a few times.

Just has no cohesion with his team-mates yet. That'll come.

Hes's put one on a plate for Barkley and another for lukaku.

Apart from that he really looked massively out of his depth yesterday. I dont think WBA particularly closed him down and so he was able to run in straight lines...different yesterday when under pressure he was a passenger and i think Holgate did more attacking wise from Full back than he did on the wing.

If Moshiri wasnt here and we had spent £28mil on him i think opinions would be absolutely scathing so far. However Moshiri is here and yet i still find myself scratching my head on why he would start ahead of "The assister" (trademark Lukaku) Gerard Deulofeu.

I personally would've put Del on with hald an hour to go for Bolasie but Deulofeu really hasn't got going over the first couple of games where as Bolasie looked really good as a sub against West Brom. Stoke have a big backline Pieters, Cameron, Shawcross and Bardsley are all psychical players so Koeman probaly felt Bolasie would deal with that better

I'd say because unlike Martinez/Moyes, Koeman is actually a very fair manager, and Deulofeu absolutely stunk the place out against West Brom, whereas Bolasie's brief appearance saw him set up Barkley and Lukaku on guilt edge chances.
I'd also think Koeman has look at the opposition and thought, big, physical side, who's more likely to make an impact? Bigger stronger Bolasie, or deulofeu who hugely struggled last week against similar opposition.

I think it'll do Deulofeu the world of good knowing he isn't a guaranteed starter, like he was under Martinez.

You gotta ask yourself why did Emery, Martinez and Koeman all drop Geri at the first chance they got.

Can probably add why did Enrique not give him any real chance at Barca compared to some other 'less talented' young lads - especially given the way the Barca fans love him.

Doesn't help the fact he has the worst fitness for a professional footy player i have ever seen either though, seriously don't understand how a lad in his condition/at his age can't last a half without looking goosed...

Fingers crossed though as all the talent in the world

He his definitely more effective when he has acres of space to run into, it's why he minced us twice when coco was in charge.

But he's got bags of energy and his tracking back surprised me yesterday, he covered the pockets of space quite well. He'll be what I expected; world beater one week and frustrating the next. If he keeps up with nonstop running then it will still benefit us for the press

On my stream it was mentioned a couple of times that bolasie looked shattered after every run forward and was breathing like he should come off.

Didn't think he played no better or worse than most yesterday. He was effective in that when he gets the ball he drives forward and creates space quickly for others, and beats the man more often than I expected. He also keeps the opposition full back and winger ten yards deeper to try and deal with him. Also thought he used the ball pretty efficiently, unless I was watching a different game.

That bit where he puts their spunk headed bell on his arse was ace.
