Here's another serious question or two, would you rather we had kept Martinez?

Would you rather have him or Koeman?

Do you blame the players rather than Martinez for last season? (and the previous one for that matter)

Last season you said we had to re-adjust our expectations and that 10th/11th was the new 6th/7th because of the changing dynamic of the league (or something like that). That being the case, what would your expectations be of this season?

Do you think if we had kept Martinez that we would have started the season as well as we have?

Defending well. Solid midfield, decent talent throughout the side, 2 wingers, pacey, ace slotter up top. A few diamonds who on their day can produce magic.

The biggest compliment I can pay to the style is that I'm now enjoying watching Everton again.

They're playing winning football. We're walking out of Goodison and people are actually happy and talking confidently about our play and results.

You can talk about the style all you want, but right now we're second in the league and seem to be playing better than we have for a long time.

That's the most important thing! Once you've got winning down to a tee then it's time to critique the finer details our our style of play.

But if you want to talk about style of play, then I'd say we are defending resolutely, creating chances and now actually like to score regularly.

It may not be perfect but it's much, much better than what we experienced under your beloved Martinez within his last two seasons.

I for one am furious at how the season is going because there hasn't been anywhere near enough sideways passing or risk taking in defence. The fact we're 2nd is irrelevant. I felt for those Leicester fans last year too having to put up with that pacey high pressing game.
