Gambler's Fallacy to link hopes here to outcome and totally illogical.

Also, we aren't down to three - we've got Oviedo who can also play there, plus Ross has done it before, as has Kone, and even (heaven forbid) Snivelley. We've also virtually guaranteed to have Depay join us. It's extremely unfortunate but not the apocalypse that would be Lukaku getting injured

wasn't actually linking the two, just pointing out that the idiots who hoped he got injured won't be thrilled when they see your god awful suggestions for wingers starting matches as we cruise to mid table mediocrity. Oviedo Kone and cleverly on the wing? Ffs mate

I ruptured my MCL playing in a cup final..... didn't miss a game tho.... just made it back for the first game of the next season (6months) but to get back to prem level of fitness will take him at least a year I think... and like mentioned before ... some players don't ever really come back... arteta and yakubu were never the same. Credit to jags tho he came back... only worrying thing is that bolasie relies on his pace ....

Got to hold my hands up and apologise, really thought he was playacting and it was embarrasing to see. Dont wish a serious and career threating injury to any player.

Deulofeu loses the ball just as often as Bolasie does. Unlike Deulofeu, Bolasie has actually created goals for us this season.

Deulofeu wasn't even starting regularly under Martinez, and he hasn't under Koeman either. As much as you may protest about Bolasie it's clear that Deulofeu is deemed not good enough to start and that has been the case under two managers in two seasons.

3 in 3 seasons if you include Seville, actually 4 in 4 if you include his loan here. Each time he's ended out the team later in the season, tells a lot.

He's 28, he may be back start of next season but he could easily do a Kone if he isn't mentally strong enough.

I've torn my ACL (had a hamstring graft), partially torn my MCL and LCL and managed to build up strength and keep fit for a good 6 months before I needed the surgery. The best thing about today's techniques is that he'll be starting his rehab as soon as he steps out of the hospital. He'll have goals set, targets to meet but at his age it's a big worry.

I know it doesn't seem a common view but I like him , raw and unpredictable he's been our best attacking player and when he's linked up with Lukaku it's when we've looked dangerous.

Some of the post on here leave you shaking your head , some people just shouldn't have nice things.

Let's just hope he can recover and return with that raw pace as It was , although obviously it's a terrible injury .
