He has, on the whole been poor for us so far this season.

I did however think he looked very dangerous vs United. His best performance for us since the Sunderland 2nd half.

As has been said by others it's not his fault he carries such a massive transfer fee. I didn't rate him that highly before he came and haven't seen anything to change my opinion. However the guy seems to be a good influence in the dressing room and undoubtedly tries his best for everton, as was shown by attempting to continue to play after a serious injury, probably aggravating it in the process.

No one should be taking delight in such a serious injury to one of our players.

I didn't even think we were outclassed in the first half.

Pretty much honours even up I thought....in the sense both teams were crap and the game was dreadful...then they scored a bizarre goal.

But it was men against boys for the first twenty five minutes after the break....they really did outclass us and I don't know how we didn't concede a second goal :(

Largely down to the fact that Zlatan was playmaking rather than striking...
They were on top during that period, but even so, Stekelenburg wasn't called upon to make any kind of save... he let the woodwork deal with the shot from Herrera ;)

Because they only created one chance - when Herrera hit the bar.

They were great until they got to the final third. Their goal - as you say - was bizarre and from a nothing ball.

We should have had the woodwork as an option for MOTM, Andy ;)

A particularly poor one, trying way too hard, I didn't notice who had posted it before, now I remember his post about Bolasie being world class, def a WUM, but he doesn't wind, makes you feel sorry for his stupidity instead.
 
He's the consummate highlight-reel player. With substantial video editing, he looks fabulous. But he often struggles to get into the game, and chronically over-elaborates. I scream at the television every time he does that roll-over dribble thing, which alarms the in-laws.

On the other hand, I don't think our system now plays to anybody's strengths.

Amazing. I must be getting too old for this...I thought it was pleasant, amusing banter,which is a great way to state opposing views without acrimony. Sorry if I got it wrong! Only downside is that me old mate orly joined in!!:) Someone once said that there's nothing wrong with sarcasm or cynicism...they both hide a gentle and sensitive heart.;)

Don't worry about it mate, I read it as an insult - if that's not how it was intended then it's all good ;)
