Pretty much this. You can argue that Davies and other players should get more opportunities, but he has tried a lot of different things that just didn't pan out. Can't really fault him for experimenting because he has. Criticizing the results is fair though; we should be doing better against the Swanseas and the Bournesmouths.

We lined up 4-4-2 on Sunday, we played 3 at the back versus Chelsea, we have played 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 at other times, hes not keeping it the same and hasnt for any game, we make changes every game and we make changes during games.

As the lad above says, the results are bad, but when I read people saying he "needs to try different things" it makes me sad, hes tried almost every player and lots of different formations.

You see it better than me then Goat, because half the time I'm scratching my head.

Exactly, I've not known a player divide opinion so much sincd Fellaini. Suppose it's all about opinions, all I see is a clumsy hoofing speed merchant. Take the United game for example, about 25 minutes in or so, he gets played in by Lukaku and lashes it across the 6 yard box? Mirallas just misses it, now I see it and its a shot. He doesnt look up and he hits it way too hard to be a cross (think it even goes out for a throw in).


Other people will watch it and that its a great cross. It's not. Its a crap shot.

Edit: he does look up. I stand by my notion its a shot.

There has been something of a summit meeting in Mod Central Office and a devious, devilish, ruthless and merciless plan of retribution, punishment and all-round mod skullduggery has been proposed and is awaiting ratification. As soon as @The Esk finishes passing round the port and cigars, and @Groucho stops laughing, we might get to vote.
