Put him in another league and he's going for about 5M. In fact I can name at least 15 players at his level who you could get for WAY less than 30M.

Why was it an awful buy?

For one, the fee was no where near £30m. It was £23m. If it hits £28m it'll be because we'll have got CL.

He was our best attacker before his injury. Koeman wanted him and he's the only player who is an attacker who presses. He also formed a good link-up with Rom and kept Rom happy.

Sissoko likewise would have added pace and power to a midfield that severely lacks it.

So basically, stop talking rubbish, please.
