...folk on here will know I have been critical of the club's medical strategy and particularly the lack of direction and innovation from the club doctor. Now this information might be wrong but I have been told that when Dr Irvine came onto the pitch to assess Bolasie's injury he actually examined the wrong leg.

I again caveat this detail with confirmation that I didn't witness it myself but apparently Bolasie looks amazed when was happening.

Astonished he examined the right player.

Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest with that eggs. Also during the Merseyside derby where it was blatantly obvious Stekkers couldn't walk properly the physio tries to walk him straight from the goalmouth to the half way line before someone tells him to take a short cut off the pitch. Should have instantly taken him behind the goal. Only small things but these players are assets. The Bolasie one I thought was terrible. He was on the pitch for a further 5 minutes or so and it took the player to basically go to the other side of the wing and sit on the pitch to be taken off.

Always had a decent game v Liverpool didn't he?

Ah well. I wonder if he'll return the same player?

If he comes back offering less than he did when he was fit then it'll go down as one of our worst ever signings.

Shocking to say that I don't think we've missed him at all. Blind alleys and losing the ball against Liverpool would have been his second half.

How Everton would that be?

Funny that if true Eggs.

Just making him try and run it off was absolutely horrendous. Would have done plenty of extra damage

He wasn't the problem in our side. Baffles me how people think this.

Pre-conceived ideas that people haven't been willing to change despite impressive performances.

Hopefully he comes back strong.

.......the club doctor is old school and everything I've heard about the medical strategy is a concern. I understand, though, that he's retiring soon so hopefully we get somebody innovative who improves the situation.
Koeman will probably offer him a new 5 year contract.

He wasn't the 'problem', he definitely isn't the solution either.

Good impact player from the bench if he's still got his pace.
