He was bad. One good cross doesnt change that. See, an average player will do 4-5 useful things in a game. You have to give Bolasie 90 minutes to get just 10 seconds of usefulness out of him. I cannot count how many times defensively he just let someone run past, and how many times offensively he just lost the ball, hit some random pass, or flubbed a decent chance.

When he creates one goal opportunity with one cross it doesnt negate the 4-5 opportunities squandered and 2-3 created for the opposition. Let me know when he finally actually looks good for an entire game. Or scores a single goal...

That's what we bought. Its not like he's changed from his time at Palace. He peaked and that's what you get.

..terrific cross for the first goal but he is hit and miss. The game was set up for somebody of his type in the 2nd half but he failed to exploit the situations he was in.

The guy is a clown, he’s got to be the thickest footballer on the planet. He makes Barkley look like brain of Britain. We won’t move forward with the likes of him in the team.

Today showed we have so many technically poor football, the 2 centre backs, the 2 midfielders and bolasie. Big changes needed in the summer.

I'd actually argue all of these points. Whilst he doesn't 'scare' defenders as such he clearly gets enough respect from them, it's noticeable in how often defenders will back off him for fear of getting done by him. No one else in the team seems to have that kind of effect and it's based on a reputation that he's clearly built up in this division.

and his delivery is fine - it honestly confuses me how often people will call him on this.. you only need eyes to see that he can put in a very dangerous ball from time to time. You only have to look to the last two games as recent examples.

He is what he is, a frustrating winger who over complicates most of what he does, pisses everybody off in the process but then ends up throwing a quality ball in to the mix that we score from.

He's been instrumental in our last six points despite being gash for 80% of the match. Fair enough I guess.

A squad player at best, I'd move him on in the summer if we can get a decent offer. Not his fault he got such a bad injury but we massively overspent on this one and I'm really starting to believe that the main reason we even did bring him in was just to appease Lukaku for a bit longer.

Not a patch on Walcott.
