2017/18 Yannick Bolasie

Before his injury he had 1 goal and 4 assists in 14 games and should of had more if the likes of Barkley could finish their dinner.

My opinion like is that he’s gash, good wingers pick the ball up and know what they want to do with it, his problem is that his feet are about 10 minutes in front of his brain, he’s actually hilarious to watch at times.

Bolasie has some talent but like most of our squad is fatally flawed.

You see it every single week, one of players does something stupid, you know he is going to do it at some point and it happens. Stuff like this is why we are so poor.

Bolasies main problem is that he doesn't just run at defences. He had one run today where he ran the length of the field just knocking at past people and they couldn't get near him. He did that once, usually he never does it, he gets the ball and slows play down whilst trying to trick his way past players.

Again like most of the squad he lacks the mentality to be a truly effective player week in and week out.

Bin them all.

What's embarrassing is how supporters like yourself, as fine a fan as you no doubt far, having the wool pulled over their eyes and being convinced that this absolute no mark, never has been, wannabee grime rapper waste of space is somehow good enough to play football at this level.

Look at his career stats. Look at how bad he was before his injury. Now look at much worse he is now. He's pathetic. Has never been good, never will be. An absolute must to get rid of as soon as possible.

Yet because he goes out there with a 75 thousand pounds a week smile on his face you naively deem him a trier who scores goals. No, he doesn't score goals. He scores a goal a season. That's singular. And he can no longer run. So now we're left with a washed up Yannick Bolasie, already trash before his injury but with a bit of speed about him, no longer able to even take a defender on.

Lucky us.

Honestly I do think he is good enough to start every week for everton? No but I think he is a good squad player for now but he is a right winger for me. I just don't get where all the hate comes from. Having a negative manager like allerdyce who obviously tells the wingers to stay back doesn't help matters.

The left hand side needs sorting out this summer. Personally I'd be all over Bernard from shaktar on a free, especially if we get fonseca in.

Rated him before his injury, was one of the few who did, because I thought he offered something different and at least tried to properly support Lukaku. Now though he just reminds me of Kone, looks like player who isn't in control of his limbs and never seems to just get the basics right.

Sell him in the summer, someone will surely take him on the cheap. Lookman deserves far more game time than this bloke, injury or not he's had his chance now and hasn't done enough.

Tbf that is true about him And he is one of the most frustrating players I have ever seen. Hopefully he'll be a squad/bench player next season.

A team is usually greater than the sum of it's parts and this is even more true in a team that is playing well.

At Everton , the reverse is true, the team is playing worse than the sum of it's parts. We are seeing flat ponderous displays from a team that just wants the season to end.
We are seeing players that are low in confidence unwilling to take risks and to show any real flair.
In short we are seeing players that are not performing up to their real level.
It has been thus from the first game of the season. I am not sure I can remember one game this season where it looked as if the players were enjoying themselves.
These are not bad players, but are playing as if they are.

I thought he played quite well today. He put 3 or 4 very good balls in. I think people have to be realistic at what he's going to do. He is fairly 1 dimensional, he will run down the wing quickly and deliver good balls into the box. He needs to do more of this.
He has shown, repeatedly, that he cannot consistently do this. The biggest frustration I have with him is that he rarely sticks his head up, so he is just putting balls in areas rather than picking people out.

He tackled himself about 10 times yesterday, some blues really turned on him and he looked a bit sheepish at one point.
